ABOUT THE DIVAS WITH DISABILITIES PROJECT The Divas With Disabilities Project is a digital movement and community that is committed to increasing the participation and representation of Black and brown women and girls –DIVAS– Dynamic, Illuminating, Victorious, Achieving Sisters with visible disabilities.

What are DIVAS? 

We are Dynamic Illuminating Victorious Achieving Sisters (DIVAS) who happen to live with disabilities. We strive to amplify our voices and images so that world can see that we are more than just the sum of our body parts---That we are deserving to be in included in fashion,  Film, and on TV--  As organization, we show what disability looks like by promoting ALL Black and brown women and girls with visible disabilities including those in the LGBTQAI Community, through various media platforms.

What do DIVAS Do?

Our work is carried out through various initiatives, such as our Diva State of Mind Initiative that  increases awareness of The DWD, sharing its purpose, mission and vision with organizations and local communities throughout a Diva's  respective state/country.
